Prosper Funding LLC Debt Consolidation Kit Featuring Faux Check Design and Heavy Buckslip
Prosper’s debt consolidation direct mail kit features a faux check design at the top of the letter. The kit also features a heavy buckslip. The combination of these tactical direct mail elements work very well together to increase open rates.
All direct mail kits with a window that use the faux check design have great open rates because it builds a sense of intrigue for the reader. As you can see in the above image, the check security tint shows through the window on the outer envelope. You’ll also notice the “Second Attempt” graphic element that also helps increase open rates. “Second Attempts” work very well because readers see this as an urgent attempt to reach them.
In the letter, you’ll notice the two places where a confirmation number is called out. This confirmation number is for the company to track their marketing attribution as well as increases the levels of personalization for the reader. You will also see they added the “Second Attempt” stamp design here to tie in the urgency theme on multiple parts of the kit.
On the buckslip, you’ll notice the call to action and mention of the confirmation number again. This is a generic heavy buckslip, but finding a way to tie it all together with the letter is a great tactic to keep consistent. Also, you won’t be able to see this, but the buckslip uses a heavy multi-ply paper stock to create thickness and weight for the direct mail kit.
The combination of having a faux check with security tint design and the heavy buckslip work very well to increase the open rates compared to a standard number 10 package.
